100 things?
I've made a list of 50 so far.
I've been thinking more about doing things lately.
Maybe it has to do with this being a brand new decade, full of possibilities and opportunities.
There is a new show coming to MTV* called The Buried Life. You might've seen the commercials for it. It follows 4 guys with a list of 100 things to do. They want to prove that anything is possible if you go after it.
I also had a lesson recently in Sunday School about doing things. I was handed a list that counted to 100 and asked to fill in at least the first five things. That was hard. But the other night, things just started coming to me.
Looking at the list on theburiedlife.com now, I can see that, surprisingly, a lot of the same things are on both my half-list and their whole one. Trust me when I say I never intended for that to happen. I swear I'm not copying. But I see a good 25 or so that I had on my list that they've written on theirs. I also see a few that I'll be adding when I finish up the second half of my list. I've always wanted to take a kid on a shopping spree for toys, but I've never put it in words.
A good number of the things on my list have to do with learning. I want to learn an instrument, I want to learn different languages, and I would love to learn the names of ALL of my cousins. Another majority of things have to do with doing physical things. I want to learn how to surf. Which, weirdly enough, is the exact thing (Out of all the extreme sports, what a coincidence!) on their list. I also want to climb a mountian. I'm not surprised at all that it's on their list as well. I think some of these things are ones that a lot of people would put on their list.
I find it interesting that certain things are different goals, but accomplished through the same means. For example, on their list, they have put "ride a rollar coaster". On my list, I have "conquer my fear of rollar coasters". Different goals, but they will both be checked off through riding rollar coasters.
I like how different people care about accomplishing different goals. For instance, I don't suppose the guys on The Buried Life would care to hug a penguin (#42, I think, on my list), but would love to get into the Guiness Book of World Records; something that I really don't care about doing.
So what crazy, random, or completely normal things are on your list?
*side note on MTV- Why don't they show Music Videos anymore? Why has the Music TeleVision channel turned into reality tv central? I wish they would to back to how they were back in the day. I still remember my first MTV video. Do you remember yours? I hate what MTV has allowed itself to become. It tries making new channels devoted to music, but ends up turning them into the same ridiculous circus act that the other channels have become. PLAY MORE MUSIC VIDEOS!! I think the last time I saw a music video on MTV was like, three years ago? Geez. Do yourself a favor, MTV, and get back to the basics!

Happy Holidays!
A few of the more notable gifts I received include:
- A brand new digital camera (red)!
- Some long johns. Those are fun!
- Mamma Mia Soundtrack- which I immediately put on my zune and can't stop listening to!
- Raspberry Hot Chocolate!! I flipping love hot chocolate. I should register that phrase as a trademark. Hahaha. I say it often enough. But it's true!
- A lava lamp (from a white elephant christmas party, so it's still technically "something I got" for christmas)
So anyway. I have a party to get ready for. I've been cleaning all day. Some high school friends and I are going to get together. I'm not going to tell you which nerdy club we were all in, but I'll tell ya - it's sure as heck not Physics Club ;) hee hee!
So I've been putting up old articles and flyers from "back in the day" (this phrase here means 2006) . And I kept some of the props/costumes from then, so I've been putting them up on diplay for the partay. (Note: "partay" was spelled as such in order for it to match the word "display". Don't think for one second I can't spell "party". I won the spelling bee in 4th and 5th grade, yaknow. Got the ribbons to prove it. And besides. When you p-a-r-t-y as much as I do, it's hard not to spell it right!)
I'll be at a different party tommorrow night. At Jenna's house as per the usual. That's where all the hip-hop-happenin' people go for things like chrismas parties or new year's eve! That was where the aforementioned white elephant christmas party was held as well. I can't count the number of times I've gone to their house. It's just so much fun! (But don't worry, Mom- I have much much more fun staying at home and watching movies with you than I ever will at anyone else's house ever!)
So those are my end of year plans! See y'all later!

Happy New Year!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43kfWAmVDEk
I commented on it using my youtube account, and someone sent me a message pretending to be one of the band members. I thought it was weird. The message said "I love you bb!!!!!!!!!.adrian"
Adrian Claudiu Sana is the cute one who sings the first verse. I found out on the band's website (which I found on wikipedia). They're a good lookin' bunch of guys, but I mean, that one in the beginning? His voice and everything... just so cute. Maybe it's just because they're Romanian and the accent is hott. But honestly, there is something about that accent that gives me butterflies all over.
I responded to the message by telling them I had no clue who bb was, and that they must have the wrong person. I only realized afterward that it might've been someone trying to be that guy. It could've even been that guy, I'll never know. And I'm too gullible to erase that possibility from my mind.
Went with Big Brother to a New Years thing tonight, but we quickly left. There were too many little kids there. We thought it was something different. Now onto a tournament between my three brothers and I to see who does the dishes tonight. I won't lose. I think one of the little brothers will.
