To Kimmeh

Congratulations and feel free to gloat. I'll be over here grumbling about it.

Never have I been more dissappointed than after last night's game.

Check it out Here if you must.

I'll be telling myself that at least we didn't lose as bad as a certain other team in a certain 5-0 game. *coughcoughgamefivecough* And that at least it wasn't a slaughterfest/shutout like said previous game.

Have fun with that cup while you can, because by this time next year, it'll be back where it belongs.

(hehe, I love hockey)

Tagged- Now? Really?

Well, after stopping by My Friend's Blog, I decided that I'd finally give in. I'll finally do what it told me to do. I've been looking at it and putting it off for ages, but I can't put it off any longer. It's too tempting.

What Am I Doing Right Now?

Well, for starters, I am blogging. I'm blogging whilst listening to my new favorite song by Akcent called Spune Mi. I have no clue what the words mean. All I know is that there are cute guys singing it, and it's catchy. I'm supposed to be watching kids, but I've sent them to their room to clean it, so that I can have a minute alone. My shoulder is still killing me (I say shoulder instead of back because I don't want to sound like an old person, but it's up near my left shoulder on my back) from the accident, and more recently, my neck has started to hurt. It's only a sharp pain when I lift my head the wrong way. I am hoping to ask the opinion of my Med. Term. teacher, seeing as she's a chiropractor. I hated trying to spell that, and I don't care if I got it wrong. I am wearing my favorite hat. It's pretty awesome. I got it for around $4.00 at Target, but it's way cool. I'm waiting for Mom to get back from taking the Little Brothers to the Dentist, so that she can take me to school. I hate not having a car. I've recently been watching Dr. Who, and I'm addicted. Its a horrible sci-fi soap opera, but I'm addicted. How sad is that?? Anyway, I'm also taking Tylenol right now. Regular Strength Tylenol is my best friend now. I've found that Ibuprofen doesn't really help as much as it does during certain other times of pain. But with Tylenol, if I can just take some, and wait for it to kick in (it takes about ten minutes) then I'll be fine. In the mean time, I'm hurting really bad. Gol Dernit, my back hurts so bad!! Geez! I went to the doctor and she said it'd be gone in a couple of days. So either she went to Med School at Liarsville, or she doesn't know what she is talking about. Maybe she meant a couple of weeks, I don't know. But I do know that it's almost been a week since the crash and my back is still killing me. Which, with my tendancy to relate words to songs, leads me to this. Thanks, Roberta, thanks. Glad you went and popped into my head at exactly the right moment, I really appreciate it, really. Just for that, here's my favorite version of this song. Yeah, it's not yours, it's by the Fugees. So there. Have fun with that.

Anyway, now that you've had a little taste (and I do mean little, there's tons more where that came from) of what goes on in my head, you know a little more about the jungle that is my brain.

Also, Im a horrible red wings fan because the last 6 games I haven't seen and the last 6 games, they've lost. 6 in a row. I feel responsible for some reason.

What a nerd

My collection of MacGyver is complete. I have all 7 seasons on DVD!!! It's soo cool. Watching the last one first totally ruined some stuff for me. But thats okay. I'll watch the rest of it later. I'm so psyched.

Anyway, I have been making flash cards for Med. Term. Class for awhile, and dangit, there are alot of things I need to make cards out of. It's kind of ridiculous. I officially hate flash cards now. And the flash cards are just for studying. The homework is worse. I have tons of homework to do and if I want to sell back the book, I have to keep it clean, so the homework is killing small forests all over the place. Good job homework. Nice to see you caring about the environment.

Red wings lost to the atlanta thrashers and won against the knucks. I hate that they lost to atlanta. but at least they've beaten the avs this year.

Take off, eh!

What I love about watching disney movies and kid shows is that there are jokes for grown ups in there. Jokes that I'm starting to get more and more. For example, the moose in Brother Bear. They were voiced by Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. Their characters are one of those inside jokes. Those moose were there for the grown ups. I'm sure of it. Because those two actors used to do a sketch show called The Great White North. Check it out here. Look it up on wikipedia or something. It's pretty funny stuff. I only recently came across it while looking for something else entirely.

Anyway, I woke up to the smell of crap this morning. My little brother's dog had an accident in his crate (which is in the basement.) So now the whole basement smells like dog poo ( including my formerly nice smelling room) and I'm mad. I didn't like the dog in the first place. Honestly, my family has never been one to take care of dogs. We just take him out every day and put him in the backyard on his dog run with his food and water where he can reach it, and put him to bed in a crate in the basement at night. That isn't fun for my brother (who is responsible for the dog) and it can't be very much fun for the dog! Do us both a favor and take the dog somewhere it'll be happy. We could find a farm or something to take it to. I dunno. As long as I never have to see it again. I hate that dog.

My poor room no longer smells like apples and pears.

I actually did my medical terminology homework. I need to study for A+P so that I'll be able to tell which membranes surround which body cavity. I'm working on the same things in both A+P class and Med.-Term. class. So I'm ahead of the game when I go into them. For example, MT class would cover a - b. then, the next day, A+P covers b - c and so forth, so I'm now able to answer questions therefore re-inforcing my education.

On a different note altogether. . . my team lost. Dumb ol' Minnesota scraped by with only one more goal than us. The score was 6-5. The Red Wings scored 2 goals in the first period, and the Wild scored 3. Second period, the Red Wings scored 2 goals and the Wild scored one. That's a tie score right there. With 1 min. 8 sec. left in the thrid period, the Red Wings scored another goal, putting them in the lead, but just a few seconds after that, so did the Wild, and it was a 5-5 tie. Overtime didn't bring any goals, but the Wild pulled ahead and won it in the shootout.

For a full report, go here.

The next game is on the 15th against the Atlanta Thrashers. I've seen Atlanta play, and I don't think I need to worry about the Red Wings.

Words have new Meanings!

Well, okay, maybe they're just new words, but I'm learning what they mean whilst doing my Medical Terminology Homework! Yay for me doing homework! I got the book yesterday right before class, and also picked up the Anatomy and Physiology books. There were tons of those. Anyway, still don't have math book or biology book, so I'll be at a loss today in class, but at least I can meticulously take notes and pay attention. Maybe whatsisface guy that's been flirting will sit next to me and offer to let me look at his book with him. He'd be useful then.

Maybe that's a little mean. He's talkative. He couldn't stop staring in class on Tuesday. He said he wanted to be a doctor, but was that just me mishearing him, or was he f'real? I thought had said he'd be a Russian and German Language Major. Maybe he's heard that you don't have to stick to Biology majors to get into med school. He also wants to transfer to the same university as I do. So he's interesting, but not. . . I dunno. I'll think about it later.

On a different note. . .

MY TEAM WON LAST NIGHT!

It was the Colorado Avalanches vs. the Detroit Red Wings.

My team won by 1 point, but we made, like, 14-15 saves. Which is amazing. Our goalie rocks.

Next game is tonight at 7:30. I'll be in A&P class then. I'll have to have someone tape it. It's against the Minnesota Wild, so Mom'll probably cheer for the other team if I watch it with her. She's a Minnesotan. She says that she's never heard of them. But I dunno. Anyway, I hope we win this one, even though I won't get to watch. I hope they continue their shut-out streak.

Also, can't wait for A&P class today. I'm excited. It's way awesome.
